How do I pay my bill?
You can pay your bill at any time with your debit or credit card online at https://www.uhaul.com/orders/
or by calling (251) 866-4040. Autobill is also available.
What if my address changes?
It is your responsibility to notify us of any change in your address. Email email@example.com or call (251) 866-4040.
What does Climate-Controlled mean?
Climate-controlled spaces are heated, cooled and dehumidified and maintained at a temperature between 50 and 80 degrees (F). Climate-controlled spaces protect your belongings from extreme temperatures and high humidity. Climate-controlled units are inside units and are accessed through an outside door and down a hallway, which also protects your belongings from dust.
When can I access my storage unit?
You can access your storage unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once you have signed the lease agreement you will have immediate access to your unit. You will be given a personal access code to use to enter the building. We furnish you with a high security disc lock with three keys. Don’t lose the keys as we do not have a key to your lock.
Please note, past-due accounts will have access codes disabled and storage units “over locked” (a second lock securing the storage unit). After a past-due payment is made you can call (251) 866-4040 to get the combination to unlock the over lock.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit cards or debit cards. Sorry, no cash or checks.
What size units are available and how much do they cost?
Cool Air Storage offer 8 sizes of units ranging from 5’x5′ to 10’x25′. All units are 8′ tall. Currently available units and their prices are listed at https://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Self-Storage-near-Citronelle-AL-36522/1034878/
What am I not allowed to store?
For our customers safety we do not allow these items to be stored:
- Live animals or plants
- Flammable substances
- Hazardous or toxic materials
- Stolen property
- Controlled substances
- Food or anything what will attract mice and bugs

Do I need a lock for my unit?
We furnish you a high security stainless steel disc lock with 3 keys. If you prefer you can furnish your own high security disc lock instead of using ours. Regular padlocks are not allowed as they are not secure.
When is my rental payment due?
Your rent is due the 1st day of the month. It is past due the 5th of the month and a late fee will be added.
Does Cool Air Storage require insurance?
Yes. Renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment. The same way your landlord doesn’t insure your personal belongings, Cool Air Storage OB LLC doesn’t insure your items either. We require that you insure your belongings for your own protection. However, we do offer an excellent Property Protection program that satisfies the lease requirement for as little as $7.95 a month! We offer several insurance plans that are added to your rent. If you wish to decline the insurance you must furnish us a copy of your homeowners insurance policy which shows that your belongings are covered in a storage facility.
I'm Ready to Move Out of my Unit - Do You Require Notice?
Yes. We require a 1 day notice before your next billing date. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (251) 866-4040. Remove all your stored items, broom clean the unit and remove your lock.
Do you have video cameras?
Yes. We have 24 high definition video cameras that record 24/7.
What are the advantages of self-storage?
There are several advantages for both commercial and private clients who use Cool Air Self Storage. The best benefit is freed-up space. Our storage units can free up a considerable amount of space at your home or business. It can also allow you to keep to items you may have otherwise had to throw away. Storage units are great for people with collections, large amounts of seasonal items, office supplies, excess inventory, or those in the midst of a move.
Do you have moving equipment available?
Yes, we do. Tenants are welcome to use our complimentary dollies and hand carts to move in or out. Be sure to leave the carts in the entrance area once you’re done.
What fees do you charge?
We charge a one time Administrative Fee of $25 which includes a high security stainless steel disc lock which is yours to keep. There is a $20 Late Fee if you are over 5 days late paying your bill. We also charge a $50 Lein Fee if you are over 30 days past due on paying your bill.
